Massage Therapy
All Registered Massage Therapists in BC attain the same level of high education standards and pass rigorous board exams to get their certification. Many RMTs, in practice, have very different treatment styles, and many use a blend of different modalities in the treatment of their patients.
RMTs work with illness, injury and disability in diverse and broad patient populations. They are primary health care professionals that focus on disorders of the musculoskeletal and related systems. Massage can reduce pain, increase a sense of general well-being, and lessen anxiety and stress. RMTs can treat for a number of conditions including but not limited to:
